GMO Reserve Plus, Inc., a GMO Internet Group company and consolidated subsidiary of GMO Epsilon Inc., will begin offering the AI-equipped medical management analysis tool “AI-Board” as an optional service for the medical reservation management system “Medical Revolution by GMO” from Monday, May 12, 2025. “AI-Board” is a management analysis tool that uses AI to automatically analyze various management indicators at medical institutions and propose improvement measures. As it complies with the “Three Ministries and Two Guidelines” regarding the protection of medical information, medical institutions can optimize their operations and improve profitability while ensuring the safety of their information.
The behavior of patients using medical institutions nationwide is changing significantly with the advancement of digitalization. According to outpatient data from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare’s “Medical Care Behavior Survey”, in 2011, 51.8% of patients obtained some information before visiting a clinic, but in 2020, that percentage had risen to 80.2%. When choosing a medical institution, not only traditional conditions such as location and technical capabilities are considered, but also various conditions such as online reputation, information on SNS posted by the medical institution, availability of online reservations, and waiting time before and after consultations, so medical institutions are required to respond more multifacetedly and strategically. However, in many medical institutions, reservation data, medical records, payment data, etc. are scattered across multiple systems, and daily medical treatment is performed with limited personnel, so the reality is that scattered data cannot be collected and fully utilized for management decisions and patient attraction measures.
