XServer Corporation began offering the “Claude Code” app image on its VPS (virtual private server) service “XServer VPS” on June 30, 2025.
“Claude Code” is an agent-type development support tool that utilizes generative AI, and since its general availability in May 2025, it has attracted a lot of attention as a tool that significantly improves productivity, especially in development work.
By utilizing the “Claude Code” app image that we have just released, it is possible to greatly simplify the setup process for “Claude Code.”

Furthermore, XServer VPS’s unique characteristics as a virtual private server (VPS) allow you to quickly build a secure and flexible environment for using Claude Code without interfering with a company’s existing systems or network configuration. This allows companies that have had difficulty using generative AI tools internally due to information security policies and other reasons to safely and quickly introduce and utilize AI.

To address these challenges, we have focused on the characteristics of virtual private servers (VPS), which allow for the creation of an independent, secure environment that does not interfere with existing internal systems or network configurations, and have begun offering an app image for the AI coding assistance tool “Claude Code” on “エックスサーバー VPS.”
This will enable the safe and rapid introduction and utilization of AI, providing strong support for companies’ AI adoption.
