WealthNavi Inc., the provider of “ウェルスナビ,” the No. 1 robo-advisor in Japan in terms of assets under management and number of managers, will prevent the sending of emails impersonating the Company’s domain from mid-July 2025 by setting up “DMARC,” a mail sending domain authentication technology.
In addition, we will also be introducing a new authentication standard called “BIMI,” which will display a logo on the inbox screen so that users can instantly tell that an email was sent from our company.
We will strengthen measures to protect our customers’ valuable information and assets from phishing scams that use spoofed emails pretending to be from our company to direct users to fake sites.

Recently, there have been many reports of victims falling victim to a type of “phishing scam” in which emails disguised as coming from securities companies or other entities lead victims to fake websites where information such as IDs and passwords are stolen.
We have not seen any similar incidents to date, and even if your information were stolen and your account taken over, the structure of our service means that you would not be able to trade individual stocks. Even if your assets are sold without your permission, we have a mechanism in place to prevent unauthorized withdrawals to a third party’s bank account.
In addition, to protect our customers’ valuable assets and information, we are strengthening security by, for example, introducing multi-factor authentication using an authentication app and gradually making multi-factor authentication mandatory when logging in.
これらに加え、なりすましメール対策も強化し、さらなる信頼性の向上と安全性の確保に努めてまいります。
