株式会社トッパンと株式会社NTTドコモは、2025年3月3日（月）、6G時代の全く新しい通信サービスの実現に向けた共同取り組みを開始する覚書を締結しました。
TOPPAN is providing various metaverse services by utilizing the information processing technology and CG production technology that it has cultivated. DOCOMO is working on “FEEL TECH®”, a platform for expanding human senses through networks, as a technology that will provide completely new value in the 6G era.
Through this agreement, Toppan will combine its metaverse technology and advanced expression technology with DOCOMO’s human augmentation technology “FEEL TECH,” and the two companies will work together to develop and provide services in the fields of education, skill transfer, and online shopping.

First, we will begin considering development in April 2025, aiming to link “FEEL TECH” with “Metapa®,” a metaverse app provided by Toppan that implements educational content for museums and science centers that allows learning through two-way communication. By adding the sensory sharing function of “FEEL TECH” to “Metapa®,” we aim to develop next-generation content that allows people to learn about art through touch, such as the texture of materials and the feeling of the artist’s hand.
