Flight Solutions Inc. is pleased to announce that its in-house developed touch payment solution “Tapion” will be connected to NTT DATA Corporation’s “Code Payment Gateway” and will begin supporting nine types of QR code payments.
Tapion is a touch payment solution that uses “Tap to Phone”*2 technology to turn commercially available smart devices into touch payment terminals. In recent years, as there has been a need to address the labor shortage caused by the declining birthrate and aging population, the Tapion tablet has been deployed as a labor-saving service that contributes to the easing of congestion at cash registers by improving the efficiency of accounting work and providing quicker responses.
一方、キャッシュレス市場では、クレジットカードを持たない層を中心にQRコード決済も急速に普及しています。加盟店にとって、多様な決済手段に対応することは、幅広い顧客を獲得するための重要な戦略です。
タピオンはこのような需要に応えるため、クレジットカードや交通系電子マネーのタッチ決済に加え、QRコード決済を導入し、マルチペイメントソリューションとしてのサービスを拡充していきます。

Tapion supports nine types of QR code payment, from major domestic brands such as “PayPay” and “d Pay” to overseas brands such as “Alipay+” and “WeChat Pay.” By simply using Tapion, merchants can operate a variety of payment methods, improving business efficiency, creating opportunities to attract a wider range of customers, and improving customer satisfaction through smoother transactions.
QRコード決済への対応は、まず飲食店などでの注文から決済までを行うタブレット「タピオン」を使ったPOSベンダー向けに提供。その後、スマートフォン向けのタピオンにも順次SDKを展開する予定です。
