GMO Payment Gateway, Inc., a GMO Internet Group company that develops comprehensive payment and financial services, is pleased to announce that it has become the first domestic payment service provider (PSP) to make “fincode byGMO,” an online payment infrastructure provided by its consolidated subsidiary GMO Epsilon, Inc.
This will enable “fincode byGMO” to work with AI agents, allowing users to implement and operate payment functions through natural dialogue with the AI. First, the developer evaluation version will be available from Thursday, June 19, 2025, and we are looking for companies and developers who can cooperate in verifying its use. Until now, “fincode byGMO” has supported fast, flexible and intuitive implementation for growing companies with its simple API design, abundant SDK, and diverse payment methods. With this MCP compatibility as a start, the company will continue to strengthen its functions suited to the AI era and collaborate with AI agent companies, aiming to position itself as the optimal payment platform for the age of AI agents.
