イスラエルのドローン通信技術会社 Elsight Ltd.は、日本での情報発信を強化し、本格的に始動することを発表します。エルサイトはかねてより、総販売代理店である株式会社ナビコム・アビエーションを通じて、日本の各省庁や地方自治体への拡販を進めてまいりました。今回の情報発信の強化により エルサイト は日本で本格的に始動します。
近年、日本でもドローンの社会実装への期待が急速に高まっています。その背景には、地震が頻発する環境、気候変動による自然災害の増加、人口減少による物流やインフラ点検の担い手不足など、社会課題の深刻化があります。
国土交通省の方針により、2022年にはレベル4（人口密集地での目視外自律飛行）が法的に認められ、物流や災害対応、インフラ点検などでの実用化を目指して全国で実証実験が進められています。

Drones are expected to be an efficient and safe means of delivery, particularly for the “last mile” problem in mountainous areas and on remote islands. The drone market in Japan is expected to expand to approximately 650 billion yen by 2025 (Impress Research Institute, Drone Business Survey Report 2020), and as the time for change is approaching on both a technological and institutional level, we decided to launch in Japan.
