板橋区 is working on business support using the AI communication platform “CAT.AI” to promote DX (digital transformation) using AI. Tomorrow Net, which provides the service, announced this on July 9th. In recent years, while there has been a demand for the promotion of DX in government services , many local governments have seen issues with traditional business operations and information provision. In Itabashi Ward, in order to improve services for residents and increase business efficiency, it has formulated a ” DX Promotion Plan ” and is actively working on DX. Tomorrow Net will use two products, the conversational AI “CAT.AI CX-Bot” and the AI agent “CAT.AI GEN-Bot” that uses generative AI, to advance the introduction of AI in local government operations. CAT.AI CX-Bot, which can be used as a voicebot and a chatbot at the same time, has been adopted for the conversational AI telephone response in the Family Registry and Resident Affairs Division, which Itabashi Ward plans to fully operate from October.

From August 2025, a demonstration experiment using CAT.AI GEN-Bot will begin on the ward’s official website managed by the Public Relations Division. GEN-Bot will be introduced into the ward office’s garbage and recycling information chatbot, and in response to inquiries from residents, it will generate appropriate answers based on information posted on the ward’s website and present the necessary information in an easy-to-understand manner. This initiative is an advanced attempt at introducing AI in local governments and will be a pioneer in promoting service innovation using AI in the field of government administration. Tomorrow Net intends to support the realization of services that are easy for everyone to use, even in the public sector.
