京セラコミュニケーションシステムと北海道大学、雪上走行デリバリーロボットを開発

京セラコミュニケーションシステム株式会社と国立大学法人北海道大学は、雪上走行可能な中速中型自動搬送ロボットの共同開発に成功し、準公道での走行試験に成功しましたのでお知らせします。今回の走行試験は、国内初の取り組みとなります。

This test will be conducted as part of the snow driving technology development project for which KCCS was selected for NEDO’s (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization) “Innovative Robot Research and Development Infrastructure Construction Project/Realization of Delivery Services Using Automated Delivery Robots.”

KCCSは、無人自動搬送ロボットを活用し、必要な人に必要なモノやサービスを届けることで、子どもから高齢者まで、誰もが安全で快適に暮らし続けられる街づくりを支援することを目指しています。KCCSは、2021年から北海道石狩市を中心に無人自動搬送ロボットの技術実証を実施。

When verifying driving technology in Hokkaido, it is essential to drive in snowy and snowy environments. Approximately half of Japan’s land area is designated as a heavy snow area, and logistics issues such as a shortage of delivery personnel in snowy and snowy environments have become serious social issues. Against this background, we began working on joint development with Associate Professor Emaru of the Hokkaido University Graduate School of Engineering from 2022.
