NEC Orchestrating Future Fund、ヘルスケア分析プラットフォームを提供する米国Aetion社に投資

エコシステム型コーポレートベンチャーキャピタル（CVC）ファンドであるNEC Orchestrating Future Fundは、ヘルスケアプラットフォームを提供する米国Aetion, Inc.に出資しました。また、医薬品開発におけるリアルワールドデータ（RWD）／リアルワールドエビデンス（RWE）事業での協業に向けた協議を開始。

近年、医療分野では、医薬品開発の安全性と有効性を評価し、開発・承認プロセスの効率化を図るため、RWD/RWEの活用が求められています。しかし、RWD/RWEの活用には、データ収集、データ品質や分析手法の標準化、法規制への対応など、いくつかの課題が残されています。
