SIOS Technology just launched “Gluegent Gate Medical.” This is a special version of its Identity as a Service (IDaaS) platform for healthcare. Starting July 16, 2025, this solution enhances security and simplifies authentication in medical settings. These facilities increasingly rely on cloud-based systems and electronic medical records.
The release addresses rising worries about cybersecurity in healthcare. This comes after recent cyberattacks and new regulatory demands. In 2023, Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare updated its guidelines. They now require multi-factor authentication and tighter access controls for medical information systems. “Gluegent Gate Medical” helps institutions meet these standards. It offers features like personalized IDs, multi-factor authentication, and clear access management.
