In April 2024, the so-called 2024 problem of “setting a cap on drivers’ overtime work” will come into full swing, and logistics is now at an unprecedented turning point. Furthermore, in April 2025, the revised Logistics Act will come into effect, ushering in an era in which the promotion of logistics efficiency and fair trade will be fully supported by the system.

一方、輸送力不足は依然として深刻で、物流の最前線に立つドライバーからは、荷待ちや過剰な付帯作業など、厳しい状況が続いています。
To address these issues, Hacobu has developed MOVO, a cloud-based logistics management solution that optimizes inter-company logistics, and Hacobu Strategy, a logistics digital transformation consulting service, to support the digital transformation of companies and local governments. With the vision of “building a sustainable logistics infrastructure,” ハコブ has been working to build a “logistics information platform” that goes beyond the boundaries of companies to solve structural issues across the entire industry.
The MOVO network, which serves as the data base for the platform, continues to expand, steadily laying the foundation for a common infrastructure for logistics. As of May 2025, the number of business locations using MOVO ID exceeded 32,000. This is equivalent to approximately 27% of the country’s major logistics bases. In addition, the number of monthly transactions on MOVO exceeded 2.5 million. The number of IDs issued to truck drivers registered with MOVO has exceeded 800,000.
Efforts to utilize accumulated big data are also underway, and the “Logistics Big Data Lab,” launched in August 2024, is currently conducting demonstrations to improve joint transportation and delivery and loading efficiency.
The funds raised this time will be used for product development, preparations for the launch of new businesses, recruitment activities and marketing to support business expansion, etc., in order to further promote the social implementation of Hacobu’s unique concept, “Data-Driven Logistics®,” which uses data to gradually optimize logistics from on-site digital transformation to the entire supply chain and then to society as a whole.
