自律的なワークスタイルを支えるワークプレイス・イノベーションの推進
Panasonic Connect Co., Ltd. has launched “COMMONS,” a new office to boost employee interaction. The initiative launched on January 14, 2025, at the company’s Hama-rikyu headquarters and Osaka base. It plans to implement it nationwide at other offices.
Since 2017, Panasonic Connect has sought to boost productivity. It aims to do this by reducing rigidity and improving communication in the office. In 2025, the company is entering the second phase of this initiative, adopting Activity-Based Working (ABW) principles under the concept of a “connected workplace.” ABW provides different office workspaces. Employees can choose the best environment for their tasks and needs.
The newly inaugurated “COMMONS” embodies this philosophy, featuring spaces tailored to diverse work styles. They include areas for brainstorming, quiet zones for focus, and creative spaces to inspire.
The term “COMMONS” reflects the idea of shared resources and communal spaces. The environment is designed to accommodate a wide array of activities, from individual work and group meetings to meals, breaks, and events. Employees are encouraged to use the space flexibly, fostering open communication and spontaneous collaboration.
統一デザインと従業員の福利厚生の推進
This “Chapter 2” initiative aims for a unified spatial design. It should align with Panasonic Connect’s identity. The company will continue refining the concept based on employee feedback, productivity metrics, and observed creativity.
Panasonic Connect’s purpose, “inspiring society from the field and connecting to the future,” places employees at the heart of its mission. The company aims to foster well-being. It wants each employee to find meaning in their work. It also seeks to ensure a safe, secure, and fulfilling life.
