Skydisc Inc., a company that supports digital transformation in production planning in the manufacturing industry, and Hamamatsu Iwata Shinkin Bank have concluded a business matching agreement regarding Skydisc’s AI-equipped production planning digital transformation service “Optimal Works,” with the aim of promoting digital transformation for companies in Shizuoka Prefecture.
The manufacturing industry is facing a wide range of challenges, including labor shortages due to the retirement of skilled workers and difficulties in recruiting young talent, sudden changes in supply and demand due to changes in external circumstances, and the need for digitalization to maintain competitiveness. In this environment, Skydisc supports the digital transformation of production plans, which are the key to manufacturing, by providing “Optimal Works,” optimizing work processes, visualizing equipment operation, and supporting the resolution of issues in personnel allocation, inventory management, and material procurement, thereby contributing to the sustainable growth of the manufacturing industry.
Since 2024, Skydisc has been working on initiatives for local manufacturers, such as disseminating information related to DX at events and seminars held at “FUSE,” an entrepreneur support center run by Hamamatsu Iwata Shinkin Bank. In addition, in June 2024, we opened an office in Hamamatsu at “FUSE” with the aim of strengthening support for local manufacturing in Hamamatsu. We have now entered into a business matching agreement with the aim of expanding the provision of “Optimal Works” in western Shizuoka Prefecture and carrying out activities that contribute to the strengthening and development of the local ecosystem.

具体的には 浜松磐田信用金庫 will support its clients’ production planning DX by introducing them to Skydisc’s AI-equipped production planning DX service “Optimal Works”. In addition, for clients considering introducing “Optimal Works”, the bank will provide consulting services to link internal issues with financial status and support the development of an internal system to resolve issues. Furthermore, the two companies will jointly consider providing DX solutions that utilize AI to address on-site issues faced by clients.
