株式会社スペースクールは、プレシリーズAおよびシリーズAの資金調達を完了し、総額9億円の資金を調達いたしました。今回の資金調達では、スパークス・アセット・マネジメント株式会社が運営する「みらい創造3号ファンド」および三井住友海上キャピタル株式会社からの出資を受けました。
SPACECOOL makes and sells innovative radiative cooling materials. They enable zero-energy cooling by releasing heat into space. This technology works by converting heat into infrared radiation and releasing it into the atmosphere, even under direct sunlight. The company’s flagship product has the potential to address outdoor heat issues, particularly in facilities impacted by global warming, such as buildings and outdoor equipment. These materials, called “Smart Surfaces,” are applied to surfaces. They reduce the need for cooling energy. This helps to create a carbon-neutral future.
今回のプレシリーズAラウンドでは、既存投資家であるWiL社、大阪ガス株式会社から資金調達を実施。また、三菱HCキャピタル株式会社からJ-KISS型新株予約権による新規出資を獲得。シリーズAラウンドでは、みらい創造ファンド3号と三井住友海上キャピタルを引受先とする第三者割当増資を実施し、総額9億円を達成。
The raised capital will fund SPACECOOL’s global expansion, R&D, and infrastructure.
