The solution combines HighTec’s Rust compiler, which supports the Rust programming language and is compliant with the ISO 26262 ASIL D functional safety standard, with ST’s Stellar, the first 28nm automotive microcontroller (MCU) to be certified for the same safety standard. Rust is gaining momentum in the automotive industry due to its high safety and reliability features.
