Fortinet Japan and ARAXALA Networks announced that they would launch a new network product brand, “FortiSwitch-AX,” and launch the network switch “FS-AX600F series,” their first jointly developed product, in the domestic market. Fortinet acquired ARAXALA in 2021. Since then, the research and development departments of both companies have been working together to develop the FortiSwitch-AX product. Fortinet Japan President and CEO Kazunori Yozawa explained, “We plan to further expand our lineup in the future, and aim to provide a safe and secure lifeline and innovative secure networking in Japan.”

By pursuing the integration of network and security, we will reduce the operational burden on customers and help them realize a more robust and sustainable IT environment.” The new FS-AX600F series will initially include two models, the “FortiSwitch-AX648F” and the “FortiSwitch-AX624F.” The highly reliable and highly available software developed by Arakawa has been implemented in Fortinet’s “FortiSwitch” hardware.
