KDDI Corporation announced that it will add a function to the “Store Development Support Pack” and “Marketing Utilization Pack” of the “KDDI Retail Data Consulting” retail store development solution that uses AI to suggest potential locations for new stores and locations for advertising and promotions.

Among them, there are several lineups, including the “Store Development Support Pack” that evaluates potential store locations based on attribute/location information/interest data, and the “Marketing Utilization Pack” that supports the creation of a data-driven sales promotion/marketing cycle.
This new function is for both packages, and by simply selecting the prefecture and city/ward/town/village and entering a simple prompt such as “Where would be suitable for opening a cafe?”, the AI will suggest potential locations for each business type such as supermarkets and cafes, by block. Furthermore, suggestions can be made in response to prompts with conditions, such as “cafes suitable for customers with babies,” and additional questions can be asked in response to the suggestions. The more questions asked, the more accurate the suggestions become, and the more they can meet the needs of users.

店舗開発だけでなく、イベント会場や広告エリアの選定といったマーケティング業務にも活用できます。また、昼間人口や居住人口、周辺の競合状況など、どのようなデータをもとに提案したのかを、具体的な数値で説明できる仕組みも備えています。これにより、負担の大きいマーケティング調査や出店候補地の絞り込みなどの店舗開発業務を効率化することができます。
