Kindrill Japan Co., Ltd. (Kindrill) has launched the “Kindrill AI Private Cloud Service” to accelerate the use of AI in Japan. The first service, the “Private AI Infrastructure PoC Support Service,” helps organizations fully implement AI while ensuring technological independence.
The new service utilizes a dedicated AI private cloud environment in Japan, running on Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA , to support proof-of-concept (PoC) and large-scale language model tuning (LLM). Combining a single-tenant on-premise environment with Kyndryl Consult ‘s expertise, the service helps organizations execute their AI strategies while maintaining data sovereignty, security and privacy.
Kindrill は、オンプレミスとクラウドの両方のハイブリッド IT 環境における深い専門知識を活用し、標準的なパブリッククラウド環境では検証できない機密性の高い研究開発や顧客データのためのセキュアで低遅延な環境を提供するとともに、より高度な予測と推論を可能にし、業界固有の要件や企業戦略に合わせたモデルの作成を可能にします。

サービス開始に先立ち、Kindrill は製造業および自動車業界のお客様向けに、本プラットフォームの概念実証 (PoC) を完了しました。この PoC では、製品に関するユーザーフィードバックに基づいて顧客のセンチメントを分析する生成 AI アプリケーションの開発、テスト、検証を行いました。このアプリケーションは、高度に最適化されたスループットとスケーラブルな生成AI推論処理を実現するNVIDIA Llama 3.1 8B-Instruct NIMを利用しました。

ベーシック: Kindrill provides access to the AI private cloud’s GPU hardware environment and related software, and the customer is responsible for deploying the OS and containers.

Kyndryl plans to expand its “Kyndryl AI Private Cloud Service” in the future. Aiming for full-scale launch in March 2026, the service will gradually provide development support for the full-scale implementation of AI applications, utilization of agentic AI solutions, and the construction and operation of private AI platforms tailored to each customer’s needs.
