MUSVI、シリーズA資金調達ラウンドで7億2000万円を調達

MUSVI Inc., which develops and sells the telepresence system “Mado”, is pleased to announce that it has raised funds through a third-party allotment of new shares underwritten by Sumitomo Venture Partners Co. , Ltd. and a loan with stock acquisition rights from the Japan Finance Corporation.

This funding completes the Series A round announced in November 2024, and brings the company’s cumulative funding since its establishment to 720 million yen.

MUSVI’s telepresence system “Mado” is a remote communication system that achieves the same reality as face-to-face communication with overwhelming realism and zero latency based on 20 years of technological development at Sony Group Corporation. Approximately two and a half years after the full-scale business launch in September 2022, more than 600 “Mado” units have been installed both in Japan and overseas, and the system has grown steadily.

今回の資金調達は、2024年11月に発表したシリーズAラウンドのエクステンションラウンドであり、グローバルなネットワークと総合商社としての強みを持つ住友商事グループのCVCである住友商事ベンチャーパートナーズ株式会社からの出資と、高い成長性が期待されるスタートアップ企業向けの融資制度である日本政策金融公庫の新株予約権付融資の活用により、長期的かつ安定的な資金を確保します。

ムスビ は、今後も既存株主を含む投資家や販売パートナーとともに、デジタル技術の力を活用した社会的課題の解決に取り組んでいきます。
