Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ) announced the launch of the “IIJ Zero Trust Access Solution for Developers,” which enables the creation of multi-cloud compatible system development environments. The solution provides an all-in-one solution, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), ID management, and closed networks. This solution promises secure access and streamlined operations using VDI in multi-cloud environments. The company noted that while VDI is increasingly replacing local PCs in corporate system development environments, digital transformation (DX) is driving the shift to cloud computing for corporate systems, creating new challenges for VDI-based system development.

Furthermore, by separating the work environment from local terminals, security risks such as data being taken out can be avoided. In addition, the cloud-based ID governance management service “IIJ ID Governance Management Service (IGA)”, which can centrally manage IDs and organizational masters, centrally manages developer IDs and automatically links developer information to each cloud using IGA as a base, reducing the operational burden of ID management. A closed network connection from VDI to each cloud via the “アイアイジェイ Private Backbone Service” ensures a secure, low-latency access route. Prices for this solution are quoted individually.
