Zeroboard Inc. has signed a business partnership agreement with AIST Solutions Inc., a member of the AIST Group, which provides AIST-IDEA, one of the world’s largest inventory databases.
Through this partnership, an emission factor package consisting of approximately 400 carefully selected items from the IDEA database will be standardized on the GHG emissions calculation and visualization solution “Zeroboard” and will be available from May 7, 2025.

について ゼロボード limited package consists of only about 400 items that are convenient for calculating supply chain emissions out of the IDEA database, which is usually sold as a set of about 5,300 items mainly for LCA purposes, and has been supervised by our LCA experts. The construction of a database supervised by IDEA and the standard installation of IDEA’s GHG emissions calculation tool are both industry firsts.
The preset IDEA database is automatically updated with the latest coefficients when the version is updated, making it a package that supports user companies’ calculations in terms of operational efficiency as well.

ゼロボード限定パッケージの背景
The GHG Protocol, an international standard used for calculating and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, requires that the emission factors used in the calculations be appropriate and accurate. IDEA, an LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) database tailored to Japan’s domestic industrial structure and supply chains, is used by companies that mainly calculate on a volume basis as highly reliable emission factor data for precisely understanding the GHG emissions of various products and services.
