Hitachi Vantara LLC, a US subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd., announced that it has launched Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform One (VSP One) SDS on Microsoft’s online store, the Microsoft Azure Marketplace. Azure Marketplace is an online store offering applications and services available on Microsoft Azure. This update enables Hitachi Vantara customers to leverage the productivity and reliability of the Azure cloud platform while achieving efficient operations, including simplified data deployment and management. This update also enables enterprises to achieve enterprise-class data management and protection across systems spanning Azure and on-premises. Furthermore, built-in data compression, thin provisioning, and replication capabilities help simplify operations and manage cloud costs.
Today’s businesses are being asked to do more with less. According to an IDC survey, 82% of cloud adopters recognize the need for cloud modernization, but also cite challenges such as skills shortages, talent shortages, and increasing complexity in hybrid and multi-cloud management.
